Hello World!
Its me Aiden! Mommy & Daddy said I can finally come out to play for my 30 Day birthday celebration, but since we have to social distance I can only play here right now.

The last 30 days of my life have been a doozie! I’ve grown a lot! My last Doctor visit a few weeks ago I was already 8 pounds. I’ll get an update on my next visit this week! I’m expecting to hit around 9-10 pounds. I’m speaking it so its done! 

I eat & sleep a lot of hours, but I have the most fun during Baby Happy Hour which is 3a-5a. Mommy & Daddy aren’t fun then & they always have the lights off which is weird because its party time! I still turn up anyway! 

I’m very strong too.  If you hold me up in your lap or on the bed I can stand up! Mommy has me doing this thing called “Tummy Time” but I leverage it to scoot up. I’m sure I’ll be jogging around the neighborhood soon!

I’m still getting used to bath time though. I don’t get why it’s important, but the silver lining is getting my hair washed. Its really thick & curly & I love how the water runs through it! Mommy said she’s the only woman who can run her fingers through it though! So sorry girls! 

I love praise & worship music! Mommy plays it for me at bedtime. I get the best sleep! William McDowell & Tamela Mann are some of my favorite artist.

 Good Morning beautiful people! Its me Baby Aiden! Can you believe I’m already 2 months old! That was so fast!

You’ll be happy to know I exceeded my weight goal of 10lbs I shared last month & kept on growing because I eat so much more & according to the adults I feel 12-15 lbs & I’ve outgrown all my newborn stuff! 

I’m talking a lot more & can say Hi  in my special way, amongst other things (video of me is in the comments). Everyone always talks to me. Granny has great stories, so I love holding a conversation.  Currently Mommy is reading a collection of Dr. Seuss, as well as The Law of Recognition by Mike Murdock to me. I love them all & share my thoughts until I fall asleep. Her voice is so soothing!

Guess what!? I officially LOVE bath time now – except when they clean my neck I fuss a little but the water is so warm & I get bubbles to play with & kick so I go from grumpy to gratitude pretty quickly. Daddy makes it fun by  preaching sermons about the bubbles & everything else to me  I love it when he brushes the coconut oil in my hair afterwards. It gets kinda weird when he starts fussing about some lady named “Delilah”  never met her but all I know is I can’t lay in her lap & she can’t touch my hair. 

I can now hold my head up alone for a while, its a little wobbly but I love practicing so I’ll be a pro soon. I also like to take steps up Daddy’s chest when he holds me I feel so tall!

Happy Sunday beautiful people! Its me Baby Aiden! Guess what!? On October 30th I completed my first 90 day run! Best launch ever with lots of promotions  3 months went by so fast!

I’m hitting a lot of 5 & 6 month milestones already! I’m growing really good and strong, 14lbs 23 inches to be exact! 

I love bath time so much now I like to show these adults how its done by grabbing the towel to do it myself.  I’m still working on my range of motion but I have the concept down!

I can hold my head and chest up good during tummy time and when being held. I can stand up and take steps as long as I have a spotter  and I’m still getting lots of reading in, talking is so fun  I make sure they can hear me all over the house! 

Mommy and Daddy always play with me in the mirror thingy, its one of my favorite things to do. I can’t stop smiling when I see myself, I’m so handsome!

Laughing is one of my other favorite things as well, so I do that a lot especially when I watch Boss Baby and Clifford the Big Red Dog! Hopefully my parents will get the hint and buy their favorite boss baby a dog  seems pretty obvious to me!

And for those of you who saw the video of Daddy’s preaching and carrying on while putting coconut oil in my hair I want you know after careful consideration – I JOINED and will oversee the Nursery Ministry for a small honorarium of milk & kisses!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PICTURE

For YEARS when Jarrod and I would talk about how life will be when Aiden arrives, we’d act it out.

One of his favorite things to do would be to grab a bottle of water or pillow and sit it in his lap supported by his left arm and talk to it AS IF it were Aiden: “Hey Man! Come watch the game with Daddy.”

He did it more and more after we got pregnant. We’d even make space between us on the couch where Aiden would sit with his bottle watching a movie with us.

Sometimes he’d pass him to me and say “Here go to your Mommy.”

Yes all this with a water bottle or pillow.

Now look! 5 years later the water bottle is on the table, pillow by his side, and his beloved Son is in his lap. What’s even more amazing is Jarrod is the ONLY person Aiden will sit like this with calmly to actually watch the game or go to sleep.

LESSON: I don’t care how crazy you look or how long it takes – do whatever you need to do to FEEL your dream. The moment you do it the closer you get to LIVING it. Every night at 10pmCST is Daddy & son bath time, the other night though my wife Porshea

caught me in the act and pointed out the words on my shirt that my cousin Warren Wilkins  sent me that says – Building The Best Version Of You.

I literally lost it , because that’s exactly what I’m doing with Aiden. He’s my only begotten son and I want him to be much better than me in every area of life.

I’ve been saying for years now, that an inheritance is what you leave for people but a legacy is what you leave in them. He truly is apart of my legacy
